Frequently Asked Questions

Our food distributions, hygiene kit giveaways, and back-to-school events are open to anyone in the Las Vegas and Southern Nevada community who needs them. There's no application, no income verification, and no documentation required — just come to the event. We serve until we run out.
-
Straight into programs. We're volunteer-run with no paid staff, so almost every dollar buys supplies for the community.
$25 assembles about four hygiene kits
$50 covers food for a family of four at one of our distributions
$100 sends two kids through a season of youth basketball
$250 fills 40 backpacks for our back-to-school giveaway
Our costs outside of programs are small and specific: state filing fees, printing, and insurance. If you want to see the detail, ask us — we'll show you.

Yes, and we need the help. Most of our volunteer work is hands-on and doesn't require experience: assembling hygiene kits, distributing food, setting up and breaking down at events, and helping run youth basketball. Shifts usually run 2–4 hours on weekends, and you can come once or come every month. We also need people with specific skills — photography, grant writing, social media, coaching, and translation.

Groups are welcome too: if your church, business, school, or team wants to volunteer together, let us know how many people and we'll build a project around you.Yes, and we need the help. Yes, and they're often the most useful thing you can give us. We're currently looking for nonperishable food, new hygiene items (soap, deodorant, toothpaste, feminine products), new backpacks and school supplies, and basketball equipment. We can't accept used clothing, expired food, or large furniture. Email us at info@forever25foundation.org before dropping anything off so we can confirm we have space and a program to put it toward.

Yes. When you give, tell us the name and we'll record the gift in their honor. If you'd like us to let their family know, give us a name and address and we'll send a card — we'll mention that a gift was made, never the amount. Families can also direct memorial gifts to us; contact us at info@forever25foundation.org and we'll set it up.
